After Kaws unveiled a preview of his collaboration with The North Face last week, there was no telling how long the brands would keep us waiting. But, to our delight, the American artist took to Instagram only days later to unveil the whole collection!
A long-time fan of The North Face, this collection marks the first time the trailblazers have worked together. And if the fan reaction was anything to go by, it probably won't be the last. Here's a deeper look at some of the pieces, from camouflage print puffer jackets to parkas with mismatched colour blocking.
Dubbed 'XX KAWS', the collection features a range of cosy staples with a technical twist. In full family sizing, we can expect The North Face's OG Nuptse and Mountain Jackets, each customised with Kaws' signature 'XX' branding and The North Face's logo.
Initially expected to be a selection of 1994 Mountain Jackets in different colours, a range of tees, pants, accessories and luggage will also form the new collection.
The full collection has already dropped in select stores in Asia. It releases online on Thursday 17th February, with prices ranging from $55 to $550.
