Travis Scott x Nike Air; Cop Or Drop? | HypeDrop

A collection of Cactus Jack branded Air Max 1's and Air Trainer 1's are set to drop this month! Here's everything you need to know.

After the Astroworld tragedy, the internet was unsure of La Flame's future. Vilified by fans and media alike, Travis' career was put on hold. Nike indefinitely delayed the release of any upcoming collaborations, while Coachella dropped his headline performance. For a while, Scott went into hiding. But while his future is still undetermined, Nike is set to pick up the reigns again!

Initially due to drop in December '21, Nike's Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 are about to get the Cactus Jack treatment. Six months after the Astroworld incident, the release may be short of the hype that Scott's used to - but that hasn't stopped the Swoosh from gearing up for release day. In 'Baroque Brown', 'Saturn Gold', 'Cave Stone', 'Wheat' and 'Grey Haze', here's what you can expect.

Air Max 1; Baroque Brown, Saturn Gold, Cave Stone

Remaining true to Tinker Hatfield's 1987 silhouette, Scott's take on the Air Max 1 is coated in a variation of suede and synthetics. Customised with backward Swooshes, bohemian-patterned nylon straps and rounded cord laces, it's synonymous with La Flame's eccentric style. In Baroque Brown, Saturn Gold and Cave Stone, the shoes feature mismatched branded banners on the heel, while a rubber midsole plays host to a hollow Air Max unit.

Air Trainer 1; Grey Haze, Wheat

Coated in similar synthetics to the Air Max 1, Scott has re-envisioned Tinker Hatfield's Air Trainer 1. Arriving in Grey Haze and Wheat, the sneakers feature removable protective sheaths, a rear zipper across the heel and 'CACT.US CORPORATION' branding on the forefoot strap. Industrial in style, the Grey Haze pair is customised with a part-hidden outlined Swoosh, while the Wheat's is burgundy. Metal studding is also dotted across the foot.

At $160 each, Travis Scott x Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 are scheduled to drop on May 27th.
