Off-White x Nike Blazer Low | Now On HypeDrop!

Arriving in University Red & Electro Green, the sneakers are the ultimate representation of Virgil's talent.

Following Virgil Abloh's unexpected passing in November, sneaker fans were left uncertain of Off-White's future with Nike. Out of respect for the streetwear icon, pre-planned collaborations were pushed back, and future designs shelved. But now, after a four month delay and plenty of rumours, the Off-White x Nike Blazer Lows have landed.

One-of-a-kind, yet typically Virgil, the sneakers are representative of Off-White's unique mark. Here's everything you need to know about Abloh's final legacy, and how you can unbox the pair on HypeDrop!

Off-White x Nike Blazer Low 'University Red' & 'Electro Green'

Off-White was never short of success in the sneaker industry. The brand's 'THE TEN' collection with Nike skyrocketed Abloh's career. Preceded by the infamous Jordan 2 collaboration and 'Dear Summer' collection, the Blazer Low duo sees Virgil's creative vision reach new boundaries.

Dressed in University Red & Electro Green, both renditions feature circular punctured holes across the upper, an elongated Air Terra Humara midsole, zig-zag over-lacing and Helvetica branding on the medial side. On the University Red rendition, neon yellow coats the second lace set and extended sole, while the Swoosh appears in the titular colourway. On the Electro Green rendition, the titular colourway coats the second lace set and extended sole, while the Swoosh appears in black. On both, vibrant blue elements are scattered.

The University Red pair opts for a vintage look, whereas the Electro Green counterpart opts for a cleaner, semi-speckled arrangement.

Released on April 8th, the sneakers retailed for $140 each. As expected, they've doubled in price at resale! But on HypeDrop, you can unbox the pair for as low as $60.32 each in Supreme Vs Off-White.

Nike Blazer Mid Off-White & Nike Blazer x Off-White 'Spooky Pack'

The Blazer is a familiar silhouette to Off-White. The treasured basketball shoe featured in Virgil's 2017 'THE TEN' collection; hand-cut, open-source and reconstructed. With a bold Swoosh, Helevetica branding, University Red lace ties and exposed stitching, it paved the way for Abloh's distinct design.

In 2018, the Spooky Pack followed. Nicknamed 'Grim Reaper' and 'All Hallows Eve', the counterparts to Virgil's Mid Blazer Low with 'THE TEN' differed only in tone. In tan, Grim Reaper featured a bold orange Swoosh and teal detailing. Whereas, in black, All Hallows Eve featured a bold white Swoosh and orange detailing. Both were customised with pale blue tongue ties.
