Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 Yellow; Drop Or Cop? | HypeDrop

Following the highly-coveted release of the collaboration's first drop, the sneaker is set to follow in yellow! Here's everything we know.

Back in 2021, Virgil Abloh and Louis Vuitton revealed one of the most exciting collaborations to come out of the sneakersphere. Their take on the infamous Air Force 1 was unveiled on the SS22 'Amen Break' runway. In 21 colourways, it rivalled both Dior's Jordan 1 and Travis Scott's Dunk. But, with Abloh's devastating passing, the collection's official release was uncertain.

However, on January 19th, the first collaborative Air Force 1 dropped! Limited to 200 pairs, the sneaker released via auction, with 100% of the proceeds donated to Virgil's 'Post-Modern' Education Fund. A month later, DJ Khaled unveiled a red pair of the same sneakers on Instagram. And then, earlier this week, English Sole gave us a close up of the next pair - a highly anticipated yellow set!

Are we one step closer to seeing the remaining 18 colourways? We could be. But, until then, here's everything we know about the latest rendition, including if we'll actually get a chance to cop this one.

Made from premium leather, and dressed in Louis Vuitton's infamous Monogram print, the bright yellow sneaker features a white lateral Swoosh and midsole. In true Abloh-style, Helvetica text features across the shoe; 'AIR' on the midsoles and 'LACET' on the shoelaces. Louis Vuitton's branding appears on the medial sides, while green stitching can be seen under the Swoosh. As with the first drop, each pair will be accompanied by a Louis Vuitton branded box, Swoosh strap, Air tag, dustbags and a postcard reading 'Virgil Was Here'.

As of March 14th, further information regarding the release date and retail price is yet to be shared by the brands.

Limited to 200 pairs, the first Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 drop launched via a Sotheby's auction for $2,000 per bid. Raising money for Virgil's Post-Modern' Education Fund, the collection soared expectations, raising $25,300,000 in total!

Though most of us missed out on the drop, size 10's are in luck. You can cop a pair on StockX for $755,014! It's loose change, right?
