The iconic 'Bred' colourway reimagined, with a shiny twist. Once a rumour of the sneakersphere, the Jordan 1 High OG Patent Bred is almost here!

Joining the Jordan 1 High OG Hand Crafted as part of Jumpman's Holiday lineup is the long-awaited Patent Bred. Expected to release in full family sizing, the sneaker at first leaked to mixed reviews. But, as all sneakerheads know, early leaks tend to lead to a different sneaker entirely. And as expected, they did! Though patent leather may divide fans, it's got us hooked.

Since the Bred colourway was first worn by Michael Jordan in '89, it's been a sneakerverse favourite. So called ' the devil's colours', the latest iteration to join the collection is the Jordan 1 High OG Patent. Coated in a full glossy leather construction, the sneaker is accented by black nylon tongues, 'Family' embroidery on the lining and debossed Wings motifs at the ankle. White midsoles and contrasting red rubber outsoles complete the vibrant pair, while a metallic red Jumpman hangtag and patent take on the Jordan box also feature as accessories.

The Jordan 1 High OG Patent Bred is set to drop on December 30th, for $170.
